Brooklyn Workshop

This workshop is designed to support a host of different activities into a compact 350 sf space: drawing, computer modeling, product photography, traditional woodwork, rapid prototyping. Everything is constructed with simple materials: red oak plywood for the desk and stool, painted OSB for the partitions, hdf for the barn door hardware. The barn door is built out of two hollow-core doors that have been CNC cut to fit the custom-made circular frame and plexiglass. The door handle is cut from Mahogany as a counterpoint to the simple materials used for the door. Alepreda self-performed the construction of this space. The furniture is by miduny, our sister company.
